Since its inception, cricket has seen many legendary and  talented cricketers. Among them is one of the best cricketers of all time. If cricket lovers are asked who is the best cricketer of all time? In answer to this, most cricket lovers will name Sir Donald Bradman without a second (2nd) thought.

But Don Bradman himself was impressed by the God of Cricket Sachin Tendulkar to the Indian people. Bradman said, as the only batsman, this Indian reminded him of him. I watched his batting on TV, his batting technique impressed me. But Sachin Tendulkar (God Of Cricket) himself would not want to be compared with The Don.


But some cricket lovers think that Tendulkar is not far behind. To the people of India, their god of cricket (Sachin) is the best ever. If we compare the two (2) legendary cricketers of different times, Don Bradman and Sachin Tendulkar, some of the things that will come up are highlighted.

Sachin Tendulkar has 35000+ international runs. Whereas Bradman's runs are much less 6900+. During Bradman's era cricket was only for entertainment. There was no such pressure. Because the game was not telecasted live. There was no such thing as supporter's expectation pressure. But Bradman never played an ODI. Scored 7000 runs in just one (1) format.

Modern era batsmen have many advantages compared to Bradman's era. Guards, helmets, quality pitches and preferred bats make it much easier to score runs in the present era. Batting pitch maintenance during Don Bradman's time was not what it is today. Few times the pitch was not conducive to batting and had to be batted.


Bradman played 85% of his matches against only 1 country in his career. He played more in familiar conditions. On the other hand, Tendulkar has played against many countries. He had a great ability to play in all kinds of environments. Sachin Tendulkar used to bat with power against all types of bowlers and all opponents.


Don Bradman scored 29 hundreds in 80 innings in international Test cricket. He scored a century every 2.75 innings. On the other hand, Sachin Tendulkar scored runs at an average of 53.78 in 200 Tests. He scored Fifty one (51) centuries in 329 innings.


When it comes to playing huge innings, Don Bradman's pairing is fair. He has 29 centuries in Test cricket including 12 double centuries and two triple centuries. He also played like a king in first class cricket scoring 37 double centuries and four triple centuries. Bradman's innings of 452 not out against Queensland in 1930 is still the highest individual innings by an Aussie batsman in first-class cricket.


On the other hand, Sachin Tendulkar has converted only six of his fifty one (51) Test centuries into double centuries. In addition, Sachin was unbeaten with 200 runs against South Africa in one day international cricket.
