England's Star Spinner Became The World's Best
England's star spinner became the world's best just a day after going unsold in the IPL auction. The mini auction of IPL 2024 was held in Dubai on Tuesday. Although Adil Rashid's name came up in the pool of international bowlers, no franchise showed interest in signing him. He did not even get a team in the return auction. The T20 ranking list was released by the International Cricket Council on Wednesday. Adil Rashid is now the number one T20 bowler in the world according to the ranking published by ICC. In other words, the British spinner became the world's best T20 bowler the day after being ignored in the IPL auction.
